It's Snowtime

Hello, it's Kath here and I'm hosting the first challenge of 2019 Winter Wonderland.  Our challenges will now be monthly instead of fortnightly and will begin on the first Friday of each month.  All the Design Team members will be taking part in each challenge.

The theme for this month's challenge is:
'It's Snowtime'
(we want to see either snowmen or snowflakes on your card)

Our sponsor for this challenge is:

And here's a little bit about Beccy:

My paper obsession began with scrapbooking in the late 1990s and has since evolved into card-making and digital drawing.  There were a few years of decorative painting, teddy bear making and silk ribbon embroidery mixed in there too!  I still dabble in each of those crafts, and many others, but I generally gravitate toward paper, which I find versatile and forgiving.

I started “doodling” little designs for cards back in 2009, which is when I started my blog and began sharing my images with other Cardies.  From there I progressed to my very own online store selling digital drawings for cards and other paper craft projects. In 2012, Margaret Myers from Sparkle N Sprinkle contacted me with a proposal to make some of my designs into rubber stamps, which was a very exciting opportunity for me. Four years later, I decided to further expand my business by offering my very own range of clear stamps, which are also sold from my online store. My latest venture is a line of cutting dies that will coordinate with some of my most popular clear stamps.

These days, when I’m not hanging out with my husband and kids, I spend a lot of time with other crafters and card makers, enjoying our shared passion for handcrafts. I can’t imagine a day without some sort of creative activity taking place, whether it’s designing a new image, hand-stitching a little toy or just taking some inspirational photographs.

And here is some inspiration from our fabulous Design Team:

Carol using Snow Drifters

Chrissy using Jim The Snowman

Christine using image from Snow Folk

Deanne using Snow Drifters

Jackie using the free image Frank the Snowman

Hi, it is Lou here with the Winner and Top 3 of my "What you love to do at Christmas" challenge.
We had 102 wonderful entries to the challenge - thank you so much to each of you for entering. It certainly made choosing the Top 3 a real challenge.

I started drawing when I was a little kid and I developed a very realistic style. I usually painted animals and plants from photos, thinking that I would never had enough imagination to draw something without looking at it first. I am so glad I was wrong!!! When I had my kids a few years ago I started telling stories, making toys, and drawing for them. It opened a new world for me. I love making illustrations and I would love if you could sense that there could be a little story behind them. I surely have a story for many of them.

And the prize on offer to the winner is 3 digital stamps from Kinda Cute

So without further delay, the lucky winner chose at random is:

29 - Mindy Baxter

I totally love the Christmas Tree shaker card.

Please email us at winterwonderlandchallenge@yahoo.com to claim your prize.

Now, on to my Top 3 (in order of entry):

17 - JeniMc

I'm not a big fan of Christmas pudding, but I love all the little details.

44 - Helen

Such an adorable image and who can't say that they love doing crafts at Christmas!

79 - Craft Princess

I totally love playing in the snow, as does Janie! Can't go past this cute snowman!

Please take your badges from the sidebar.
