Week #14 - Setting the Table

Welcome to week 14 where this week we have been thinking about some of the little extras that sometimes get overlooked at the festive season - table settings! These needn't be elaborate - sometimes the most simple gestures make a bigger impact. We have been making place cards, napkin rings, stamping napkins and making wine glass charms. And the nice thing about doing them this early in the year is that you can customise them to match your decor and have them all ready to lay out during the holiday period.

And we have another fabulous Guest who has joined us this week - Ameli has created the most beautiful invitation and napkin ring to inspire and we would like to thank Ameli very much for agreeing to do this for us.

We would love to see your table settings - it needn't be the whole lot, just one of the above will do, or you may have other ideas of your own that you would like to share with us. Don't forget to leave us your link so that we can come over and drool over your festive table settings. If you need a little inspiration and motivation, here are some samples from Ameli and our fabulous team:

Week # 12 - Home for the Holidays

First things first - the winner of last week's Cutting Cafe kits is
Congratulations Danielle - please contact me and I'll let you know how to get your hands on those fabulous kits!
Now then, let me tell you something shocking - including today's challenge, we have only 18 more Christmas themes before the big day itself, and already we are on Week #12!!! OMGosh, that is very scary!!! Our themes will take us right up to 13th December, enough time to get all your cards and decorations out of the way, then we have just two more surprises after that - and that will take us right up to the end of 2009!!! So, if you're someone who's been with us right from the start, you should have a pretty healthy looking stash building up by now, but if you're here for the first time today, this would be a really good time to make a dent in your Christmas Card list by jumping aboard and letting our themes inspire you.
We would like to thank our lovely GDT Beth who gave us some fabulous inspiration with her projects for the last two weeks, and welcome our Guest, Janneke, this week who has some gorgeous ideas of her own to share with us and inspire! Here is a little bit about Janneke:
I am 38 years, and I live together with my boyfriend Rinus in the Netherlands, in a little town close to Heerenveen. My hobby is making cards with stamps and pattern papers. I like different funstamps and you all find them here ;0) I guess I am addict *lol*I also like gardening, shopping and looking at Speedway and Grasstrack races.
So here we go with Janneke's fabulous card and some ideas to share from the team:

Week #11 - Twinkle, Sparkle - Sponsored by 'The Cutting Cafe'

Hi Crafters! Happy Sunday - blimey, don't the weekends come round quickly! Here we are again with another fab theme to inspire you to get cracking on those Christmas projects you intend to do before the year is out! I know, we all have good intentions!!! And this week's theme is sure to get you running for the glitter pots and glues - just go mad, because the topic is Twinkle Sparkle, and who can resist a touch of glitter and bling at Christmas!!

Once more the team would like to thank our fab Guest Beth, who has created yet another stunning project to delight and inspire you, and each and every one of you who played along with our Winter Wonderland theme last week - your Christmas goodies are so wonderful and really put the magic back into Christmas.

We are also delighted to be sponsored once again by the fabulous Regina Easter of The Cutting Cafe who is offering a prize of 3 of her brilliant digi kits to one lucky player who's name will be drawn at random. Here is some info about Regina:
Hello my name is Regina Easter. I have 4 wonderful children and an awesome supportive husband. I have for as long as I can remember loved all the aspects of creating things with paper and drawing. So it was only fitting that I decided to open up The Cutting Cafe' and I am loving every bit of this new venture. The Cutting Cafe' offers affordable Printable Stamps and Cutting Files. The Cutting Files which are basically just like templates are files that you Print out using your home printer, Cut, Assemble and then Embellish.....Very Easy.....The Cutting Files also come in the format where you can cut out the files using some of the latest Machine Cutters like the Pazzles Inspiration, Bosskut Gazelle and Cricut (with Scal software). The Printable Stamps are just that, images that are sent to you through email that you print out using your home printer. After the images are printed out, you can just color them in like you would any other stamped imaged...One great thing about the Printable Stamps and Cutting Files is that you no longer have to worry about finding space to store all of your stamps....You can keep them all in a folder in your computer and use over and over again.

So if you need more inspiration, get yourself over to her site and spend some time drooling over her fab kits and the wonderful samples on her blog.

Right then, here we go again with some fabulous samples from Beth and the team. Don't forget to leave your link and show us your gorgeous Twinkly, Sparkly projects!
