DT UPDATE

Just a quick update on the DT call.

Thanks so much to everyone who applied. We have loved looking through your blogs and making a  shortlist has been difficult. The DT are currently looking at all the shortlisted people and we hope to announce the two successful people in the next couple of days. Yes, two, as sadly Bridget has decided to step down from the DT. Thanks for all your lovely work and contribution Bridget and we wish you well for the future.

Just a few words of advice for those of you who are unsuccessful.
Make sure you have really good quality photos, the bigger the better to show off your work to its best advantage.

Blog as regularly as possible

Think about the look of your blog. Some are very cluttered with so many logos, wins, awards etc. Why not have them on separate pages, so your blog looks less cluttered.

If English isn't your first language and you are able to write your posts in English as well as your own language why not consider doing so. Non English challenges always write in English too. I realise this is not possible for everyone and I certainly couldn't write my posts in anything other than English but just something for you to consider. You will of course still be considered for a DT post as much as anyone writing in English but this might just help your readers anyway. Google translate is time consuming and very unreliable.

I hope these points will help you when applying for future DT posts.
