Welcome everyone, Michelle here and I'm excited to announce our June Challenge.
***************************************
Just before we talk about our new challenge, we are sadly saying goodbye to two our of Design Team members, Marie and Amanda. A big thank you to both of them for all their contributions to the challenge - we're going to miss them.
This means we would like to add some more members to our Design Team
- would you like to join us?
Here's a bit more about what is involved:
1. Our challenges are monthly and we using digi images from sponsors for the majority of our challenges. You can see the sponsors we have for this year in the side bar of this blog. This means you need to be confident working with and colouring digi images.
2. We take turns to host challenges which means picking a theme, sometimes choosing the images for the team to work with, drafting the post (with help where needed), choosing the top 3 and preparing the winner/top 3 posts.
3. Commenting is an important part of the challenge - we aim to have one number each to comment on depending on the size of the team.
4. You need to have a blog and a Facebook account - our Design Team group is based on Facebook.
5. We ask for a six month commitment - you can of course stay longer but having a six month commitment helps us to plan.
So if all that sounds good and you love making Christmas cards then please think about joining us.
If you are interested, please contact Helen either through Facebook or via e-mail to winterwonderlandchallenge@yahoo.com
This DT call will stay open for the length of this challenge so please get in touch!

And now back to our challenge and our theme is:
"CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS"
Christmas decorations come in so many beautiful colors, shapes, sizes and each so unique when you look at the varieties from all corners of the world.
Beccy’s Place
Designs by Beccy Muir
My paper
obsession began with scrapbooking in the late 1990s and has since evolved into
card-making and digital drawing. There
were a few years of decorative painting, teddy bear making and silk ribbon
embroidery mixed in there too! I still
dabble in each of those crafts, and many others, but
I generally gravitate
toward paper, which I find versatile and forgiving.
I started
“doodling” little designs for cards back in 2009, which is when I started my
blog and began sharing my images with other Cardies. From there I progressed to my very own online
store selling digital drawings for cards and other paper craft projects. In
2012, Margaret Myers from Sparkle N Sprinkle contacted me with a proposal to
make some of my designs into rubber stamps, which was a very exciting
opportunity for me. Four years later, I decided to further expand my business
by offering my very own range of clear stamps, which are also sold from my
online store. My latest venture is a line of cutting dies that will coordinate
with some of my most popular clear stamps.
These
days, when I’m not hanging out with my husband and kids, I spend a lot of time
with other crafters and card makers, enjoying our shared passion for
handcrafts. I can’t imagine a day without some sort of creative activity taking
place, whether it’s designing a new image, hand-stitching a little toy or just
taking some inspirational photographs.
So now it's over to you!
You have until Thursday 2 July to link up your cards - please remember to link up your blog post and not just you blog and it's Christmas cards only please. Our rules are in the tab above.
